Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with expertise in various medical practices including outpatient services and infectious disease care. This role will be situated within a Level I Trauma Center, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. The Physician will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while ensuring the highest level of patient service.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, with a focus on outpatient care.
Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection.
Provide health coaching to patients, promoting wellness and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in pathology and physiology to enhance patient outcomes.
Manage infectious disease care effectively, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
Strong knowledge of physiology and pathology relevant to patient care.
Experience in health coaching is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to operate effectively within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and empathy.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical practice.
