What you will be doing in the role of a Director, Partnership Marketing
The Director, Partnership Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that strengthen corporate partnerships in support of mission and revenue goals. Reporting to the VP, Brand & Partnerships. The Director also identifies and shapes new brand and non-traditional marketing collaborations that expand Susan G. Komen’s reach, influence, and relevance with new audiences, industries, and communities.
Works closely with Corporate Development teams to enhance the pipeline strategy for acquiring new corporate partnerships. Leads the marketing and brand strategy for existing partners, providing creative ideation, asset creation, and execution support to build enduring partnerships that support Komen’s mission.
What you will bring to the table
The primary objective of Director, Partnership Marketing, is to support Susan G. Komen in achieving our overall Vision and Mission by:
Corporate Partnership Marketing
- Develop and lead marketing strategies that support corporate partner acquisition, activation, retention, and growth.
- Serve as the marketing lead throughout the partnership lifecycle, from pitch support through activation, renewal, and growth.
- Create integrated marketing plans, co-branded campaigns, messaging frameworks, toolkits, and promotional assets aligned with partner and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with Corporate Development on partnership positioning, proposals, renewal strategies, and partner storytelling.
- Partner with creative, content, digital, communications, and mission teams to execute partnership campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels.
- Manage partnership marketing deliverables and evaluate campaign performance to ensure objectives are achieved
New Partnership Growth
- Identify opportunities across advertising, media, sponsorship, consumer, and cause marketing landscapes.
- Monitor trends in advertising, sponsorship marketing, media partnerships, consumer engagement, and cause marketing to identify innovative growth opportunities
- Ensure new partnership opportunities align with brand strategy and organizational goals.
Measurement & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate partnership performance, audience engagement, and impact.
- Prepare internal and partner-facing reports that communicate results and recommendations.
We know you will have and be able to
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7-10 years’ experience in partnership marketing, brand marketing, sponsorship activation, or related field
- Experience developing marketing plans with corporate partners or sponsors.
- Strong collaboration experience working across internal teams.
- Experience developing and executing national or multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, campaign planning, consumer engagement, content marketing, and partnership activation.
- Demonstrated success working across multiple stakeholder groups and influencing decisions in complex organizations.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, marketing proposals, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring campaign performance and translating data into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written; research, develop, present, and promote projects; work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines.
We would love if you also have and are able to
- Experience in an advertising agency, media company, large nonprofit, consumer brand, sports organization, or entertainment property.
- Experience with cause marketing, corporate social responsibility (CSR), sponsorships, or purpose-driven brand partnerships.
- Knowledge of paid, earned, owned, and shared media strategies.
- Familiarity with audience segmentation, marketing analytics, and customer engagement strategies.
- Experience supporting fundraising, revenue generation, or nonprofit growth initiatives.

- Competitive salary of $105,000 – $135,000/annual, exact compensation ranges are based on a range of factors including but not limited to the labor market, job level, internal equity, and budget. Offers given will take into consideration the candidate’s skills, education, experience, geographic location, and other necessary credentials.
