Trenholm Road United Methodist Church in the Forest Acres section of Columbia, South Carolina, seeks a full-time Director of Youth Ministries to oversee discipleship of students in grades 6-12.
This individual should be a caring, spring individual leader and a disciple of Christ with a heart for youth, their parents, and the church community.
Work can begin this spring. The position is full-time, with Wednesday and Sunday evening youth gatherings.
Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership and oversight to the program of middle and high school students.
Coordinate Wednesday and Sunday evening youth group activities, as well as special events.
Requirements:
A college degree.
Experience in the field of youth ministry.
Pay and benefits are commensurate with experience.
