We’re looking for a mission-minded Director of Strategy + Creative to lead the charge. This role is equal parts visionary, mentor, and practitioner—bringing together brand strategy, digital marketing, content development, fundraising prowess and creative leadership into one bold package. You’ll guide our in-house and contract creatives, partner with our Client Services team, and directly shape the strategies that help our clients thrive.

Requirements
What You’ll Do
Own the strategy: Lead Fervor’s Brand Impact Assessmentâ„¢ and major strategy projects, guiding clients and internal teams toward bold clarity and measurable results
Write with conviction: You’ll roll up your sleeves to craft brand language and strategy that helps faith-driven organizations lead with clarity, conviction, and growth.
Lead the creative: Oversee creative execution across platforms—branding, digital, content, video, email, and campaign strategy. You’ll guide the work, review deliverables, and jump in when needed to create
Mentor and manage: Lead our team of designers, writers, and content strategists, providing feedback, accountability, and encouragement to help them thrive. We say LMA because we use EOSâ„¢
Think interdisciplinary: Content, copy, design, campaigns—you speak them all. You bring structure to complexity and clarity to clutter
Inspire confidence: Present to clients, lead brainstorming sessions, and cast vision that moves ideas forward and drives client buy-in
Partner for impact: Collaborate closely with our Client Services team to ensure client outcomes are aligned, activated, and always on mission.
You Might Be a Great Fit If:
You’re digitally fluent across platforms—email, web, social, paid media, and beyond
You’ve led creative or strategy teams in an agency or high-performing in-house setting
You have 10+ years of experience in marketing, creative direction, and brand strategy
You’re a natural communicator with top-tier presentation skills and storytelling chops
You’re energized by building team culture and coaching others toward excellence
You’ve worked with nonprofit, faith-based, or cause-driven clients (bonus!)
You know how to set a high bar, then roll up your sleeves to meet it
Tools + Skills We Use (and Hope You Know or Are Ready

Brand messaging and identity development
Campaign strategy and activation
Multi-channel marketing and fundraising strategy
Paid media strategy (overseeing the execution and results)
Team leadership and performance coaching
Project collaboration via Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Based in Kansas City, MO (hybrid: 1-2 days/week in office)
