A nonprofit social services organization in Brooklyn is seeking a Director of Security & Operations to oversee facility operations, security, and maintenance for a women's shelter. The Director of Security & Operations will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily facility operations, security, and preventive maintenance
- Supervise, schedule, and train security staff to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop crisis prevention and incident response strategies to maintain a safe environment
- Ensure facility repairs, vendor services, and regulatory requirements are completed on time
- Prepare incident reports and oversee quality assurance and operational reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience in security, facilities, shelter operations, or a related setting
- Ability to oversee facility compliance, maintenance, and security operations
- Must be available for on-call responsibilities 24/7
Compensation: $70,000 annually
