Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a Director of Outreach Engagementto lead our outreach, education, community partnerships, and fundraising efforts. This is more than just a job-it’s a chance to help build a healthier, more connected community.
What You’ll Do:
As our Director of Outreach Engagement, you’ll be the driving force behind:
Educational Events: From health fairs and school presentations to community walks and mental health awareness campaigns.
Partnership Development: Collaborate with community organizations, referral sources, and local leaders to expand our reach.
Volunteer Programs: Recruit, lead, and grow our SPBH Ambassador Programand Mental Health First Aid alumni network.
Community Engagement: Build and grow our Advisory Council and create strong, sustainable community relationships.
Fundraising Initiatives: Help grow our mission by organizing donor events and identifying new funding opportunities.
Data Collection & Impact Reporting: Analyze and share insights about community needs and outreach effectiveness.
You’ll work closely with our leadership team, staff, and Board of Directors-bringing ideas to life and ensuring our work is seen, heard, and celebrated throughout the community.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required (eligible to become CPP certified)
Master’s in Public Health or Healthcare Administration preferred
What You Bring to the Role:
Strong understanding of mental health and substance use topics
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strategic thinker with a creative, innovative mindset
Event planning and project management experience
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and partnership building
A passion for helping others and making a difference
