Equip for Hope in South Sudan Organization (EHSSO) is seeking a Fundraising Director to lead donor engagement, grant development, and fundraising strategy as we build a strong foundation for long‑term impact in maternal and child health.
About the Role
This is a volunteer position for the 2026 calendar year. All funding raised in 2026 will go directly toward operations, program development, and organizational infrastructure.
EHSSO is actively pursuing governmental and foundation grants to establish paid part‑time roles beginning in 2027, with projected compensation of $35–$55 per hour, depending on responsibilities and funding levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy — Develop and execute annual fundraising plans.
- Grant Writing — Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reporting.
- Donor Engagement — Build relationships with donors, partners, and community supporters.
- Campaign Leadership — Lead online campaigns, giving drives, and community fundraising events.
- Partnership Development — Cultivate partnerships with clinics, churches, diaspora groups, and philanthropic organizations.

- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or grant writing.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
