Role Description
This is a full-time, role for a Director of Engagement for African American Ministries preferably located in the Grand Rapids, Detroit, or Chicago Metropolitan Area. The Director will be responsible for relational management, program development, communication, team leadership, consulting, and project management in the context of engaging the African American community and churches with Bible engagement, spiritual formation resources, and events.
Qualifications
Program Management and Project Management skills
Excellent Communication and Consulting abilities
Strong Team Leadership skills
Experience in engaging diverse communities, specifically the African American community
Ability to work collaboratively and strategically
Previous experience in a similar role within a religious or nonprofit organization is beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
