Director of Employment Services Jobs in Scranton, PA at Goodwill Industries of NEPA
Basic Function: Reporting to the Director of Program Management and Grants, this position provides strategic and operational leadership for the department and is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating employment and workforce development programs that assist individuals with disabilities, justice-involved individuals, and other populations experiencing barriers to employment in achieving competitive integrated employment and reducing barriers.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Provide training, supervision, coaching, and performance management for Employment Services staff.
§ Direct the planning, implementation, and evaluation of employment programs to ensure quality service delivery and successful participant outcomes.
§ · Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with employers, funding agencies, community organizations, educational institutions, re-entry partners and other stakeholders to expand employment opportunities and program growth.
§ Works collaboratively with all funding agents and agency peers.
§ Prepare and oversee program billing, reporting, and documentation to ensure timely reimbursement and compliance with contractual and funding requirements
§ Ensure compliance with all contracts, grants, regulations, standards, and agency policies.
§ Assists in the development of public relations efforts to increase community awareness (i.e. job fairs, public events).
§ Monitor departmental performance, program outcomes, budgets, and operational effectiveness, implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives as needed.

§ Analyze program data and prepare reports to support decision-making, contractual requirements and organizational accountability.
§ Collaborate with agency leadership on strategic planning, program development, grant initiatives and organizational priorities
Job Specifications:
§ Master’s degree in human services, business, or related field with at least one year of work experience in vocational rehabilitation is preferred. § Experience in workforce development or employment services for individuals with disabilities and justice-involved populations desired.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, a minimum of three years of work experience in vocational rehabilitation and experience s required. Experience in workforce development or employment services for individuals with disabilities or justice-involved individuals desired.
§ Valid PA Driver’s license and own car required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $71,000.00 per year
