REPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

The Digital Marketing Director (DMD) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Live Action digital marketing strategy and vision. Their efforts drive brand awareness, engagement, activism, and support fundraising goals. Success for this role will ultimately be determined by their ability to help transform public opinion on abortion through online education and activation strategies. The DMD is a results-driven marketing expert who is on the cutting edge of digital media and industry best practices.

The DMD’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop, plan, and implement a data-driven digital marketing strategy

Identify and manage metrics and KPI’s to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

Manage, train, and develop the digital marketing team

Increase brand awareness across all channels and develop appropriate metrics for reporting

Track and report on SEO and Google Analytics data to make in-depth analysis

Create, execute, and maintain unified messaging and brand across all platforms and departments

Ensure relevant, best-in-class content is curated and distributed across all appropriate platforms

Manage and report all digital advertising spending and ROI

Oversee all Live Action social media accounts and posts

Drive web traffic and conversions to all Live Action properties including theLive Action store and LiveActionNews.org

Collaborate with the Development (Fundraising) team to help plan and manage digital fundraising campaigns

Requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Extensive knowledge of different marketing channels including social, SEO and email

7+ years of experience in digital marketing

7+ years in a management role

Previous experience managing advertising agency partners

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
