About the Role
The Company is looking for a passionate Director of Development to join its dynamicsenior leadership team. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy, ensuring our mission to foster industrial decarbonization is well-supported and sustainable. Your responsibilities will include planning impactful public launches and engaging strategically in major field convenings.
Collaborating closely with both internal and external partners, you will be instrumental in developing a robust funding framework focused on building and nurturing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and foundation partners.
As the Director of Development, you will lead efforts in fundraising strategy, proposal development, donor reporting, and compliance, while also playing a vital role in expanding the development team as the organization evolves. Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of fundraising initiatives, exceptional proposal writing skills, and a proven ability to foster strong connections with current and prospective funders. You will oversee the creation of high-quality, timely reports and act as a mentor to a team of development professionals, cultivating their skills and outlining growth strategies.
Additionally, your experience in public relations will support the development of values-aligned, high-quality materials for external communications. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leaders, ensuring our activities align with commitments made to donors and enhancing overall philanthropy within the field.
