Director of Development
For a national nonprofit coalition that raises awareness about the importance of financial literacy and promotes the need for effective financial education. The director of development will support the organization’s mission by developing fundraising strategies and executing a plan to secure operating funds and program sponsorship revenue, cultivating relationships, writing grants, creating pitches, leading campaigns, and administering fundraising activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Expertise and a proven track record in successful grant writing and grant program administration.
Experience in securing event and program sponsorships and managing sponsor benefits.
Experience in developing and executing year-end appeals, Giving Tuesday, and/or similar general donation campaigns with successful goal attainment.
Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising trends, protocols, and resources.
A self-directed, self-motivated, strategic, independent, and confident fundraising professional. This position will constitute the entire “development department.”
A team player with ability and inclination to work collaboratively with colleagues and constituents.
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
A commitment to Jump$tart’s financial literacy mission and principles. Extensive knowledge of personal finance is not required, but would be a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
