About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Development to spearhead our comprehensive fundraising strategies. In this pivotal role, you will lead our organization’s fundraising efforts, engaging with local board members, corporate partners, and individual donors alike. We need a results-driven professional with a strong background in non-profit management, particularly within fundraising and team leadership.

You will be responsible for positioning our organization as a leader in diabetes prevention and management, developing strategic alliances, and creating advocacy plans to extend our impact.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and possesses 8-10 years of relevant experience in non-profit management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups are essential. Proficiency in computer-based information systems is also required.
This is a remote position, though candidates must live within 50 miles of our primary office to attend in-person meetings and events.
