We are looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join the Valencia College Foundation Team. In the Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving position, you will be responsible for building and enhancing relationships between Valencia College and its alumni community.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to design and implement alumni engagement strategies, lead communication efforts, and collaborate with internal and external partners to foster alumni involvement in philanthropy, volunteerism, career networking, and events. The Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving plays a vital role in securing philanthropic revenue for the Foundation’s fundraising priorities.
In collaboration with the Chief Philanthropy Officer & Executive Director, this role will develop an annual fundraising plan to include goals and strategies for alumni, faculty, staff, Board, and external community member participation.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions [required].
Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in alumni relations, fundraising and/or similar area [required].
Experience in higher education or nonprofit sector [preferred].
Experience leading teams [preferred].

Salary: $79,726 – $100,454 per year
