Overview
Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift prospects ($25,000 and above) for the Wake Med Foundation. Assist in planning and executing programs, projects, and activities designed to seek, receive, and administer charitable contributions to the Wake Med Foundation. Responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with a portfolio of existing major gift prospects, as well as identifying and cultivating new prospects.
The role will focus on securing major gift donations, though the Director is expected to support all aspects and levels of the Wake Med Foundation fundraising operation. Support volunteer and grateful patient programs, facilitating their cultivation, stewardship, and prospect management activities in close coordination with other members of the Foundation team. The role will work closely with personnel across the health system to develop a deep knowledge and ability to translate institutional priorities to prospective donors and grateful patients.
