MAJOR FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the VP, Corporate Compliance, operationalizes the network -wide compliance program and supporting policies and procedures to comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Ensure State and Federal Regulation Compliance, under direction of Vice President, Corporate Compliance, for internal and external customers. (i.e., resolution of complaints and issues of staff, patients and family members with external regulatory agencies). Assists with the development, implementation and management of the Corporate Compliance Program for Health Systems. Works with the VP Corporate Compliance to communicate compliance programs, including written materials and training programs designed to specifically promote an understanding of compliance issues and the consequences of non-compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
Graduate degree preferred (JD, MBA, MHA).
Three (3) to Five (5) years in a healthcare compliance management position preferred.
Certification/ Licensure:
Certification in Healthcare Compliance required.
