We are now offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus ($750 upon hire and $750 after 6 months of employment) to hired candidates for all locations.
Full-time positions available for our Day Program in Beverly, MA.
Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Hourly rate is $20 – $21/hr
The NEEDS Center is a growing non-profit organization that provides services and support for adults with autism. We currently have seven (7) day-shift openings at our Beverly Day Center for Direct Care Specialists. In this role, you will assist and support adults in our care, helping them live as independently as possible. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others
Full Time Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:00 pm

Responsibilities include:
Assisting and supporting adults with autism in their daily routines.
Supporting individuals in developing daily living skills, which may include grooming, arts & crafts, dressing, cleaning, and toileting.
Help with clinical, educational and vocational programs.
Observe and record data for programs established in their Individual and Behavior support plans.
Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes planning and helping with recreational, educational, and social activities to engage individuals and enhance their quality of life
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred (but not necessary)
Experience with behavior management preferred (but not necessary)
Ability and willingness to provide hands-on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities.
Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with co-workers and supported individuals. Must be able to read fluently.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center’s philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines in order to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
