Our mission is to provide sustainable solutions for community news publishers across the Front Range, ensuring that high-quality local journalism continues to serve its communities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Operations Support specialist to oversee and coordinate key digital business, advertising, and marketing operations. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth execution of digital campaigns, ad placements, and subscriber-related processes as well as other tasks deemed necessary. The ideal candidate will be digitally savvy, comfortable spending time online to produce regular necessary outputs, as well as have experience in digital platforms, content management systems, an understanding of basic advertising, social media, and customer relationship management tools. Other tasks may include community and customer service engagement, interaction, and communications, so comfort working with others is important.

Key ResponsibilitiesAdvertising & Digital Campaign Coordination Includes:

Coordinate and deploy email marketing campaigns.
Upload and manage banner ads on affiliated websites.
Oversee ad placements through external partners and vendors.
Manage social media ad placements and campaign scheduling.
Ensure accurate placement and linking of online classified ads.
Handle sponsored content submissions from clients and direct system uploads.
Some basic content creation

Content & Platform Management:

Serve as a CMS expert to assist with website updates and troubleshooting.
Assist with contests and sweeps
Manage HubSpot communications, ensuring timely delivery of client messages.
Oversee ad placements received via Evvnts, ensuring proper tracking and invoicing.

Subscription & Customer Service Support:

Serve as a backup for postal reports, labels, and USPS Gateway entries.
Assist with entering and processing subscription payments, including rack and dealer deposits.
Handle subscriber support inquiries, including processing refunds via CMS and Stripe.
Manage subscriber renewal notices and customer service for free, carrier-delivered publications.
Support carrier communication, recruitment, and supply management for delivery operations.
Process insert orders for sales team fulfillment.

Additional Responsibilities:

Provide backup support for Account/CRM input.
Assist with in-office printing and delivery operations for our publications
Take walk-in orders and answer phones as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in digital advertising, email marketing, and content management systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with a variety of digital platforms, especially ad and CMS-based
Knowledge of subscription management tools is a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for local journalism and community engagement.
A natural sense of urgency and a desire to work to progress and accomplishment
