Position Summary:
Performs various duties for the Development Department.
Responsibilities:
Plans and prepares for events, including coordinating details with facilities and vendors, requesting menus, ordering flowers, creating room setups, generating publicity and printed materials, maintaining attendance lists, and staging and de-staging supplies.
Some evenings, mornings, weekends, and occasional 12-hour days may be required.
Prepares correspondence, reports, memorandums, agendas, minutes, forms, tables, etc., for various council and committee meetings.
Creates, maintains, and manages databases, including preparation of mailing lists and mail program audits for several groups.
Maintains donor management software, runs queries, and prepares various reports.
Prepares and tracks all donor correspondence.
Updates and maintains calendars, schedules, rosters, and contact groups.
Provides direct support to the department Director and Development team.
Collects and reports data.
Assists with maintaining department dashboard.
Answers telephone calls and follows through with assisting customers, transferring calls, or recording messages.
ISO Document Controller.
Assists with coverage for the Assistant to the Vice President of Development & Public Relations.
Provides support and cross-training in Executive Administration to ensure seamless coverage.
Distributes daily department mail.
Monitors department email.
Assists with meetings and events as needed.
Completes all WebEd requirements as assigned.
Ensures that personal performance reflects the Mission, Vision, and Standards of Behavior and Departmental Goals.
Provides coverage for other staff as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience and a high school diploma/GED.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Advanced computer skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, and initiative.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiently operate various office equipment, including telephone, computer, and printer/copier.
