We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for community power and social justice. The role involves managing grants, projects and programmes for the Community Resilience Fund and Bristol Community Festival, strengthening them through effective systems, planning and data. The position is predominantly office‑based and requires a strategic mindset, good project management and grant management skills.
You will work with a wide range of people and organisations, using digital platforms and face‑to‑face engagement to ensure successful outcomes. Your tasks will include:
- Facilitate work with partners to deliver community projects and fund applications
- Communicate results through presentations and written reports, adapting to different audiences
- Collect and share impact stories to showcase the benefit of community work
- Maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders across the council and city partners
- Support the planning, execution and monitoring of projects, ensuring equity and inclusion
We value a positive, encouraging approach and the ability to engage with a wide range of partners. You should understand how inequity, prejudice and discrimination operate and be committed to bringing about meaningful change. The role may involve some evening and weekend work, which can be taken as flexi‑time.
