Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) is observed on 27 January, a day to remember the 6 million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust, as well as the victims of Nazi persecution and more recent genocides. HMDT is the charity established by the Government to promote and support HMD, and its mission is to honor the survivors and learn from the past to create a safer, better future.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Development Officer located in Greater London with flexibility for remote work. The Development Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to annual giving, communication, philanthropy, fundraising, and research. The role involves both in-person and remote work.
Qualifications
Experience in annual giving, philanthropy, and fundraising
Excellent communication skills
Strong research abilities
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:
Knowledge of the Holocaust and genocides
Experience working in the nonprofit sector
Understanding of donor cultivation and stewardship
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational and time management skills
