This position is responsible for assisting GDB’s Development team with a variety of fundraising related projects involving donor engagement, development operations, and administrative support.
Work with Development Operations on constituent data analysis.
Work with Directors and Managers on various donor outreach strategies.
Work with fundraising participants through online platform.
What you’ll do
:
Help recruit and support online fundraisers.
Support Development team with direct-to-donor stewardship efforts.
Support donor segment analyses as they relate to online and offline projects.
Assist Development Operations with donation processing.
Assist with Capital Campaign fundraising and awareness projects.
Participate in key events.
Collaborate with members of the Development team and Marketing team to help maintain informed online project alignment.
Support additional Development efforts and activities, as needed.
The qualifications you’ll need
:
Educational or professional experience involving nonprofit fundraising principles.
Experience with oral and written constituent communication.
Experience with online data, CRM, and/or fundraising systems, such as Salesforce and DonorDrive.
Organized, with an ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment, across departments and with vendor partners.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Experience with digital accessibility and best practices preferred.
GDB client, guide dog handler, or direct or indirect experience with blindness is preferred.
Position Specifications:
Full-time, in office on GDB’s San Rafael Campus for 3-week period
Paid hourly position ($23.15/hour)
Stipend for travel (up to $1,000) and housing provided on campus
