Your Day-to-Day

As a Development Coordinator, you will:

Handle up to 50% phone-based work, including identifying leads and engaging in cold calls with professionalism and confidence.

Contribute to grant writing, including research, proposals, submissions, and final reports.

Assist with stewardship efforts, including cards, gifts, and impact reports.

Support donor relationship management, including maintaining accurate donor records in Bloomerang.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who

Has 3+ years of experience in development, marketing, communications, or a related field (nonprofit experience a plus).

Communicates effectively with strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Is comfortable making phone calls-including cold calls-for extended periods of time.

Has excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple projects, deadlines, and details.

Works independently and is self-motivated with a proactive approach.

Is proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook).

Has experience with donor management systems (Bloomerang preferred).

Can work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.

Possesses a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Can lift, bend, and perform physical tasks in storage and event settings when needed.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position. Some evening and weekend availability is required to support fundraising events and community engagement opportunities.
