PC Project is a small, but mighty mission-driven international nonprofit supporting patients and families affected by a painful, rare genetic skin disease. Our work connects patients, researchers, medical professionals, industry partners, and advocates around the world to advance research, improve care, and provide community support.
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Development Coordinator to help grow and strengthen PC Project’s existing fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This new role for PC Project will help develop and implement strategies related to annual giving, grants, donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, corporate and pharmaceutical partnerships, and long-term organizational growth.
This role is part time but has potential to become full time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing individual, foundation, and corporate donors.
- Develop and implement fundraising and revenue growth strategies that align with PC Project’s mission and values
- Support annual giving campaigns and donor engagement initiatives
- Use authentic, mission‑aligned storytelling to highlight organizational impact and strengthen donor audience connection.
- Writing and reporting grants
- Provide support to maximize the success of peer-2-peer and third-party fundraisers.
- Work collaboratively with leadership, Board members, volunteers, and patient advocates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, community engagement
- Experienced in fundraising, donor cultivation, grant writing
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage donors, patients, researchers, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, mission-driven nonprofit environment
- Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Dynamics), email marketing platforms, Microsoft Office
