JOB DESCRIPTION
The Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the CEO with high-level stewardship tasks, maintaining development data within our fundraising platforms, coordinating and communicating with the Board of Directors, and managing the Bench Adoption program. This individual will play a key role in streamlining operations, enhancing communications with stakeholders, and helping us maintain accuracy and efficiency across various functions.
This role requires a highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable individual, who is passionate about nonprofit operations and eager to contribute to the growth and success of a mission-driven organization.
Leadership Support
• Prioritize and manage the President & CEO’s calendar and schedule, including scheduling of meetings, organization and preparation of materials, and tracking follow-up and next steps within Salesforce CRM.
• Facilitate implementation of donor strategy within Salesforce including use of prospect pipeline, tasks, and document management.
• Assist with Board communications, preparing and distributing meeting materials, scheduling meetings, and tracking action items for the Board. Manage updates within the Board Portal.
• Support stewardship communications and messaging from the President & CEO.
Development Operations
• Manage the Bench Adoption program including oversight of bench inquiries, donor communication, and internal and external coordination for inventory.
• Support SPF-led event outreach and invitations.
• Review acknowledgement letters for accuracy and consistency, ensuring correct data is included before distribution.
• Support management of event pages for our community partners on GoFundMe; act as primary point of contact for all community partner event webpages.
• Support the generation and review of custom reports from Salesforce to support mailings. This includes work within Microsoft Excel to review data and ensure any updates are accurately reflected within the CRM.
• Cross-train to support gift entry as required.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of four years of experience in nonprofit development or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must including interacting professionally with senior leadership and board members.
• Data centric! Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms. Experience with maintaining data integrity and generating reports is highly preferred.
• Comfortable learning and working with online platforms like GoFundMe and other digital tools for data tracking, communication, and campaign management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
COMPENSATION
• Annual Salary Range between $60,000 – $68,000/year, based on experience
• Flexible hours and schedule
