What you’ll be responsible for:
You will be responsible for a variety of professional tasks within the Women’s Philanthropy team, including program and event planning, staffing volunteer committees, implementing fundraising initiatives, and other tasks associated with outreach to the women within the Jewish community. You will be coordinating, implementing, and providing professional leadership and direction to Board and Council activities including fundraising, education, and volunteer programs.
What you’ll be doing:
Work with lay leaders, committee members, and other staff to implement a variety of programs and events related to fundraising, outreach, and leadership development.
Perform any necessary tasks in relation to administering Women’s Philanthropy meetings, programs, and initiatives, including attending and staffing Women’s Philanthropy programs, events, and Board and Council meetings. Spearhead and provide support for Board and Council meetings, events, and activities.
Plan, create, and organize meetings, programs, and activities to achieve fundraising goals and other objectives for Women’s Philanthropy in conformity with JUF goals and policies.
Support JUF campaign integration on an ongoing basis and provide general support for all JUF campaign events, phonothons, and special events.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to plan, implement, and measure strategies and programs
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (colleagues, volunteers, donors, community organizations)
High level of energy and flexibility
Ability to be a self-starter and handle multiple projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn JUF’s database system, Salesforce.
Knowledge of Jewish community, culture, heritage, traditions, and Jewish Communal Services required.
Available to work occasional evening and/or weekend events/meetings.
