Job Description
Join our dedicated team at Bee Hyv as a Development Associate for our Social Impact group. This dynamic role requires a candidate with a unique blend of sales acumen and an understanding of the social sector. The ideal candidate will foster relations and find new opportunities for Bee Hyv to work with Foundations, Donor Organizations, NGOs, Social Enterprises, Government Agencies, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of Bee Hyv’s offerings, services and goals in the social impact space.
Identify and research potential clients among Donor organizations, CSR partners, NGOs, Social Enterprises and foundations to promote our cutting-edge technology solutions and comprehensive social impact services.
Conduct thorough market research and stay informed about trends, funding opportunities, and policy changes.
Monitor online RFP platforms, government tenders, and other channels to proactively identify and pursue potential sales opportunities.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to identify potential partnerships and collaborations to build brand visibility and establish a strong presence in the social impact space.
Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets, contributing significantly to the sustainable growth and impact of our organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Global and Public Health, Public and Non-profit Management, Sociology, Tech Policy, Public Policy and Political Economy, and Sustainability.
Minor in Sales and Marketing preferred.
Desire to make a larger impact in the world by working with non-profits on digital solutions that help them drive their mission, impact and drive change for the greater good.
The ability to conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
Proactive attitude and a strong sense of initiative.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
$ 65,000 base salary plus commissions with on-target-earnings totalling up to $45,000 based on performance
Medical insurance premium reimbursement of up to $5000 per annum (based on actuals)
Paid time off (PTO) of 10 days in a year and 10 national holidays.
