QUALIFICATION:

 Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.

 Extensive experience in social development and community engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Collaborate with the Director to implement social development strategies.

 Lead and manage programs, including budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.

 Oversee services in poverty alleviation, child protection, and community

development.

 Foster partnerships with NGOs, government, and corporate sectors.

 Supervise staff, offering leadership and professional development.

 Ensure program compliance, financial oversight, and generate impact reports.

 Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

 Budget management and program performance analysis expertise.

Detailed :

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

 Collaborate with the Director/Head to develop and implement comprehensive social

development strategies aligned with community needs.

 Analyse social data and trends to identify priority areas for intervention and program

development.

Program Management and Oversight:

 Lead the execution of social development programs, including budgeting, monitoring, and

evaluation.

 Oversee the delivery of services across various social programs like poverty alleviation,

child protection, elder care, and community development.

 Ensure program compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

 Linkages with GO/NGOs and Corporate for smooth implementation of the projects

 Writing proposals and Mobilize resources for different social development

projects/programmes

Staff Supervision and Development:

 Manage a team of social workers, program coordinators, and administrative staff

 Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to direct reports

 Develop staff capacity through training and professional development opportunities

Community Engagement and

Collaboration:

 Foster partnerships with community organizations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to

leverage resources and coordinate social services

 Conduct community needs assessments and engage residents in program design and

implementation

 Represent the department at community events and meetings

Budgeting and Financial Management:

 Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of funds across

programs

 Monitor program expenditures and identify cost-saving measures

Reporting and Analysis:

 Generate regular reports on program performance, including key indicators and impact

metrics

 Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 Masters in degree in Social Work, or a related field

 Extensive experience in social development program management and community

engagement

 Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a strong ability to motivate teams

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex social issues

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse

stakeholders
