The Highlights:
Reporting to the Director of Advancement Data Systems, the Data Quality Coordinator manages and improves data integrity in the alumni and donor database. Responsible for overseeing student workers assisting with data updates, evaluating, implementing, and training staff on data procedures, and maintaining security for the Advance application. Performs data integrity updates from external sources such as the National Change of Address lists.
What
You’ll Do:
Maintain the database by updating demographic information, monitoring data accuracy, and implementing data clean-up procedures.
Organize and supervise student workers in their tasks.
Develop policies and procedures for data input, cleanup, usage, and security; prepare training materials.
Analyze data to identify potential for major and annual giving activities.
Manage system access and security.
Collaborate with Information Systems, Student Records, and HR to ensure data quality.
Oversee data input and maintenance by student workers, including assigning and monitoring tasks.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data management, preferably in fundraising or customer support.
At least 2 years of experience with databases, preferably Ellucian Advance.
Knowledge of relational database structures and data integrity maintenance.
1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Access.
Desirable:
Understanding of SQL and relational databases or Salesforce.
Additional Information:
The anticipated salary range is $26.25 to $31.92, dependent on experience and education. Benefits include health insurance, retirement matching, tuition waivers, paid time off, and more.
