    THE ORGANIZATION
    The mission of the Rape Recovery Center is to support and empower survivors and victims of sexual violence and educate the community about the cause, impact, and prevention of sexual violence. Our philosophy is that every person victimized by sexual violence is treated with dignity and respect and is empowered to work toward recovery.


    JOB OVERVIEW

    The Data & Government Grant Coordinator is critical in managing, analyzing, and reporting data at the Rape Recovery Center. This position involves maintaining databases and systems, generating reports, analysing data, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. The Data & Government Grant Coordinator is part of the Operations Team and will collaborate with various teams within the organization to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.


    This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week and full benefits. The hourly rate is $25.00-$26.00 per hour and follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule. Benefits include health insurance, a retirement match, and a generous time-off policy for paid holidays, paid sick time, and paid vacation. The position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead government grant process from award to close, including reporting, billing, audits, & compliance.

    • Manage, maintain, and edit databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.

    • Generate reports and data visualizations to support decision-making and program evaluation.

    • Collaborate with and train different teams to understand data/system needs and provide data insights.

    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

    • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Participate in agency audits.

    • Contribute as a member of the Operations Team in coverage, cross-training, and support.

    • Lead special data-related projects as assigned.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 4 years of professional experience OR equivalent practical and academic experience.

    • Hands-on experience with Apricot/Bonterra Impact Management, or comparable nonprofit case management software.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of working with government contracts and grant reporting.

    • Experience working with or in nonprofit organizations.

    • Strong data management skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficient in using software programs to analyze and display data.

    • Proficient in using technology tools to increase efficiency.

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    • Effective communication skills to convey data insights to diverse audiences.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Familiarity with data protection and privacy.

    • Comfort building reports, filtering, joining, and aggregating data without needing a developer.

    • Strong attention to data quality and a methodical approach to documentation.

    • Ability to translate funder reporting requirements into system configuration.

    • Ability to take direction, work independently, and complete assignments accurately and efficiently.


    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1-2 years of experience in data management, analysis, or a related field.

    • 1-2 years of experience with government grant contracts and reporting.

    • Master’s degree in a related field OR 6 years of professional experience OR equivalent practical and academic experience.


    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OFFER

    • The employee must complete all new hire paperwork by the end of the day on the first workday.

    • The employee must complete a criminal background check.

      • The operations team will provide instructions on obtaining the background check.

      • Part of this process requires uploading a state-issued ID and scheduling an appointment with the Department of Public Safety to process physical fingerprints.

      • Please note a 2-3 week turnaround time as fingerprint appointments (subject to COVID safety protocols as determined by DPS) are not immediately available.

      • Employees/Staff Members of the RRC can only be alone with clients once the background check is received and reviewed for risk.

    • The employee must obtain a 40-hour crisis counselor certification and submit it within 120 days.

    • The employee agrees to a 90-day probationary period from the first day of working in their new position. After 90 days, the employee will receive a detailed evaluation of their progress.

    • Employees must comply with the flu and COVID-19 vaccination policy.
