Data Analytics Coordinator (FTE) Jobs in United States at Advance Carolina
Advance North Carolina, a 501(c)(4), and North Carolina Black Alliance (NCBA), a 501(c)(3), seek a highly organized, analytical, and independent Data Analytics Coordinator to support their voter engagement, training, and mobilization efforts. This role will manage data systems, analyze impact metrics, and help shape strategic decision-making through thoughtful reporting and cross-department collaboration. Provide data support to the program teams for deeper analysis, as it results in our issue IDs and is centered on the NCBA program commitment areas.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Support & Voter Engagement
Support the design and implementation of statewide GOTV programs, voter education strategies, and electoral timelines.
Manage voter contact platforms, including VAN, phone banking, peer-to-peer texting tools, and digital organizing infrastructure.
Oversee data collection from field activities, including canvassing, 1:1s, Mobilize signups, and organizing touchpoints.
Track and support organizational endorsement processes, ensuring alignment with electoral deadlines and compliance.
Data Management & Reporting
Develop and maintain internal databases, including:
Elected Officials Network
Activist Codes
Voter surveys and field tracking tools
Black Elected Officials (BEO) directory
Generate regular performance and turnout reports for internal departments and external partners.
Serve as the primary liaison to data vendors, ensuring deliverables meet organizational standards and timelines.
Manage data consultants who provide additional support for various special projects
DART (Data, Analysis, Research, and Training) Team Leadership
Facilitate regular DART team strategy meetings to align cross-team goals with actionable data insights & quarterly reports.
Conduct ongoing analysis of voter turnout trends, base growth, and legislative impact to guide campaign targeting.
Train staff and regional teams on optimal use of data tools, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
Translate data insights into organizing strategy, including county-specific recommendations and investment decisions.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Audit and improve current systems for tracking, storing, and visualizing field and program data.
Create standardized protocols and documentation for data entry, security, and usage across teams.
Recommend innovations in reporting or new platforms to increase operational efficiency and impact.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in data management, political organizing, or campaign analytics (statewide program experience preferred)
A master or highly skilled in VAN, Excel/Google Sheets, and organizing tools (e.g., Hustle, ThruTalk, Mobilize, or similar)
Strong project management skills with the ability to track multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data clearly and translate it into an actionable strategy
Commitment to racial, economic, and social justice
Willingness to work evenings/weekends during peak campaign cycles
Salary
$60,000 – $70,000 per year
