Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in data migration to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing data migration projects, ensuring the seamless and accurate transfer of data across systems. This role requires strong proficiency in data analysis, mapping, transformation, and validation to maintain data integrity throughout the migration process. The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional project teams to understand migration requirements, identify and resolve issues, and ensure secure, efficient, and accurate data movement.

Data Analyst Job Requirements:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to fully understand data migration requirements

Assess and document data sources, mapping, transformation, and validation rules

Extract and transform data from various source types to facilitate comprehensive migration

Perform data migrations from third-party databases into Salesforce using appropriate tools

Conduct data validation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of migrated data

Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors during the migration process

Document all processes, including data mapping, transformation, and validation steps for thorough migration records

Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues as they arise during or after the process

Work with functional and development teams to address system-specific challenges during migration

Communicate regularly with project managers, IT teams, and business users to ensure alignment on migration objectives

Participate in client solution transitions and conduct training sessions as needed to ensure clients are prepared for system changes

Stay informed on developments within relevant technology domains to enhance data migration strategies and tools

About You – Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)

Minimum 1 year of strong experience with SQL or SOQL

Salesforce.com Certified Administrator or Platform Developer 1 certification

Proficient in MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQL, and database scripting

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (preferred)

Knowledge of agile methodology is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Service-oriented working attitude and ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and a willingness to assist colleagues
