Key Responsibilities
As the Curriculum and Quality Coach you will…
- Oversee multiple sites, providing mentoring and coaching in various communities within the Greater Boston area.
- Ensure implementation of the YMCA and UPK educational practices including curriculum, inclusive and anti-bias education, and instructional practices.
- Provide resources, support, guidance, performance coaching, modeling, training, observation, and feedback to teachers.
- Use education quality tools to assess program and curriculum implementation.
- Work closely with the designated BPS Universal PreK Coach to ensure classrooms are meeting and exceeding program expectations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
As the Curriculum and Quality Coach you should have…
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
- At least three years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience (required).
- Experience in a high-quality program required, experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center (strongly preferred).
