Position: Crohn’s and Colitis Co-Chair (2)

Honorarium Position

Make a difference in the community by spreading awareness about IBD within the Kingston Community. Lead unique initiatives with a close-knit community. Chairs will gain experience in organizing and executing events collaboratively, developing initiatives tailored to IBD, and helping those who struggle with the condition.

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

Duration: 12 months, from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026
Time Commitment: approximately 5 hours per week
Remuneration:
Payouts in accordance with the Human Resources Honoraria Policy Grid 9.05.02, accessible here.

Duties

and Responsibilities

Organize weekly meetings with the committee.

Collaborate with your co-chair and committee to plan and implement events and initiatives.

Hire committee members and volunteers; act as a liaison among all parties.

Coordinate with the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners and the Community Outreach Commissioner to access ASUS resources.

Assist in commission-wide meetings, events, and initiatives.
