We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. Duties
Conduct thorough background checks and verification of credentials for healthcare providers, including education, training, and work history.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure all credentialing processes are completed efficiently and effectively.
Assist in the development and implementation of credentialing policies and procedures.
Respond to inquiries regarding credentialing status and provide support to healthcare providers throughout the process.
Stay informed about changes in regulations related to credentialing and managed care.
Experience
Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
Knowledge of managed care systems and standards is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all credentialing activities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with healthcare providers and internal teams effectively.
