Objectives of this role
Developing and implementing comprehensive CSR strategies that align with the company’s mission, values and business objectives.
Managing and overseeing CSR programs and initiatives, including sustainability projects, community outreach and philanthropic activities.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address social, environmental and ethical issues relevant to the business.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of CSR initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and best practices in corporate social responsibility.
Promoting awareness and engagement in CSR activities among employees and the broader community.
Your tasks
Design and execute CSR programs that address key social and environmental challenges while supporting business goals.
Develop and manage relationships with non-profit organizations (NPOs), community groups and other stakeholders.
Coordinate volunteer opportunities and employee engagement initiatives to foster a culture of social responsibility.
Prepare and deliver reports, presentations and communications on CSR activities and achievements to internal and external audiences.
Conduct research and stay informed about emerging trends, best practices and regulatory changes in CSR.
Manage budgets and resources allocated to CSR programs, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote CSR initiatives and successes.
Stay updated with relevant updates in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting requirements in India
Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience as a CSR Manager, or similar role with 3-5 years in CSR or sustainability.
Strong understanding of CSR principles, frameworks and best practices in the context of the Indian and international corporate landscape.
Experience in managing corporate philanthropy and community outreach initiatives.
Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and relationship management.
High level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
Certification in Corporate Social Responsibility or Sustainability.
Certification in technology and analytics.
Familiarity with social impact measurement and evaluation tools.
Experience in managing large-scale community projects.
Experience in working with non-profit organizations or NGOs.
Experience in data analysis and impact measurement.
