Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and enhancing ENERCON’s volunteer initiatives. This position oversees the full volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing engagement across relevant programs and events. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering volunteer training, maintaining volunteer records, coordinating communication, and ensuring volunteers have clear roles and resources. The Coordinator collaborates with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, supports community outreach activities, and tracks participation and impact for reporting and improvement. This role also focuses on creating an inclusive, motivating environment where volunteers feel valued and connected to ENERCON’s mission.
Qualifications
- Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to coordinate activities, provide guidance, and support volunteer development.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build relationships, convey information clearly, and foster an inclusive volunteer community.
- Experience with Community Outreach to support partnerships, promote volunteer opportunities, and represent ENERCON in external initiatives.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle scheduling, documentation, and multiple volunteer programs in a remote environment.
- Comfort with digital tools for remote coordination (e.g., video conferencing, volunteer management platforms, and basic office software).
- Prior experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit or community programs is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in social sciences, communications, management, or a related field is an advantage.
