The Corporate Partnership Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and contributing to efforts of the Corporate Partnership Development team with tasks and projects associated with Share Our Strength’s recruitment of new corporate partners. In particular, the coordinator will spend 75% of their time in pursuit of Share Our Strength’s new business prospects.
This position is preferably based in Washington, D.C. (Hybrid- 2 days per week); but could be fully remote for the right candidate living outside of the DC area 30 miles or more.
The position offers asalary rangeof $55k to $58k. Exact compensation within the statedsalary rangemay vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and geographical location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Corporate Partnership (CP) colleagues to research/identify prospective partners.
Support in the creation of proposals, pitch decks and presentations for prospective partners.
Maintain team resources to increase efficiency and ensure access to quality collateral and other materials across the CP team.
Support in expense tracking, invoicing and budget updates.
Track prospect outreach in CRM system.
Continuously monitor external examples of successful cause marketing and philanthropic campaigns, sharing with the CP team for possible integration into new business presentations.
Capture notes, and lead follow up from team meetings.
Assist team in financial and pipeline reporting.
Support CPteam leadershipin coordinating external and internal scheduling for travel, meetings, and calls.
Maintain and grow knowledge of the private sector through attendance of conferences andprofessional developmentevents, adding valuable insights to prospect conversations.
Represent the organization and team with poise andprofessionalismin all communications, building external prospect relationships through meticulous service, support, and creativeproblem-solving.
Manage incoming partnership inquiries, vetting initial feasibility, making strategic recommendations and directing to lead solicitors as appropriate.
Represent the CP team on internal task forces as needed, working on cross-departmental projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred but not required, plus experience managing aspects of marketing programs and/or sponsor ships from the corporate, agency, or non-profit partner perspective.
High proficiency MS Office products and experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred.
Strong written and oralcommunication skills.
Direct experience soliciting targeted funding by corporate partners, including but not limited to regranting programs, grant budgets and program reports or commensurate experience a plus.
