Organization Overview:

We are a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to technology demonstration and training. Our mission is to validate and promote the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies while supporting workforce development and supply chain resilience. We collaborate with federal and state funding agencies through government programs and commercial contracts to meet both military and civilian industrial needs. Our current areas of focus include additive manufacturing, composites, automation, metrology, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Job Description:

As a key member of our team, the Contracts Administrator will manage contracts, subcontracts, grants, and NDAs across the organization.

Compensation:

$85,000 – $95,000 / year

Responsibilities:

Draft and negotiate legal documents, including NDAs, MOUs, partnership agreements, and subcontracts.

Track customer requirements and communicate with internal teams.

Maintain records of contractual documents and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., FAR, DFARS).

Manage corporate registrations and records across federal and state portals.

Coordinate grant and proposal submissions.

Support the development and implementation of corporate governance policies.

Collaborate with legal and operations teams to improve contracting processes and tools.

Communicate internal compliance guidance (e.g., export-control, flow-downs).

Organize legal files and maintain document databases.

Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.

Handle direct customer interactions and contract negotiations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field required (advanced degree preferred). Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.

Experience:

5–10 years in a contracts or legal role, including federal government contracting.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management.

Skills:

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

High level of professional ethics and integrity.

Ability to handle complex legal issues and terminology.

Requirements:

Must meet eligibility requirements related to handling sensitive or export-controlled information.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time onsite role, typically Monday through Friday with occasional early mornings or evenings.

Requires frequent use of a computer, document review, and interpersonal communication.

Occasional travel to business-related sites may be necessary.

Standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
