We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various concrete-related projects, supporting the installation, finishing, and repair of concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction environment or desire to learn and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in concrete work and contribute to high-quality construction projects.
Duties
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing to meet project specifications
- Operate hand tools power tools safely and effectively
- Install rebar and metal stud framing according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Construct formwork and ensure proper alignment for concrete placement
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting, material movement, and site cleanup throughout the project duration
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
- Experience working on construction projects with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing a plus but not a requirement
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Experience with rebar installation and ability to interpret construction plans a plus
- Must be reliable with good communication skills and own transportation to workshop; ability to follow instructions precisely
Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
