Key Essential Functions and Accountabilities of the Job
Implement and administer healtheducationstrategies, interventions, and programs per the approved work plan(s) and grant requirements. (i.e. exercise organizationleadership, secure fiscal resources, manage human resources and obtain program acceptance and support.)
Prepare and submit grant reports, act as SEARHC liaison to funding organizations and work on a team for funding opportunities.
Develop grant applications and work plans as needed with support from SEARHC grant writers.
Track and report budget items for multiple grant budgets per the grantor’s requirements and SEARHC’s financial system.
Effectively assess, collect and critique health related-data and identify priority health issues per the assigned grant(s) or project(s).
Effectively supervise employees per the assigned grant(s) and project(s) that support this position.
Use data from multiple sources (including electronic health records) to identify underserved populations in the communities SEARHC serves, and outreach to connect them toprevention, screening, and primary care services. Services may be in-person or via telephone.
Communicate and advocate for health and healtheducationper the approved grant work plan(s); apply a variety ofcommunicationmethods and techniques, influence health policy and SEARHC resources to promote health in the targeted communities proposed by the grants or projects.
Work with Marketing to develop appropriate social media or outreach materials as needed.
Oversight of training the community partners in delivering healtheducation/ intervention programs in their communities. These training opportunities may include but are not limited to online health programs, multi-session classes, and other duties as assigned.
Select, implement and evaluate evidence-based strategies to effectively improve health status of individuals, small groups and/or communities per the work plan(s) working across the SEARHC region and with multiple SEARHC staff across Divisions.
Supervisory responsibilities included.

Additional Details:
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
High school diploma or equivalent
Vary based on job duties – may be required to obtain certification for specific job requirements or to increase knowledge and skills related to the position
Experience Required
5 years of progressively responsible, relevant, healthpromotion, public health, or related experience.
