Salary: $64,308.00 – $86,652.00 Annually
Monthly Salary: $5,359.00 – $7,221.00 Monthly
Help strengthen community partnerships and support programs that improve community conditions, build public engagement, and connect residents with County resources. This role supports community-facing work that promotes prevention, collaboration, and outreach across Los Angeles County.

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in organizing community or area-wide committees and councils focused on prevention and community improvement
- Advise community groups on identifying local needs, planning activities, and connecting with public and private resources
- Promote understanding between the community and County agencies by clarifying programs, policies, and available services
- Help plan and publicize conferences and institutes, speak with community groups, and prepare written materials and field activity reports
- Option I:
Graduation from an accredited college with specialization in the social sciences, plus one year of graduate work in the social sciences and either one year of community-group experience in delinquency prevention, community relations, or community welfare, or two years of probation casework, social casework, or social group work experience - One additional year of the required experience may substitute for the year of graduate work
- Option II:
Completion of a two-year graduate curriculum in an accredited school of social work including supervised field work in community organization - Option III:
One year as a Community Services Counselor employed by the County of Los Angeles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medi-Cal peer support specialist
- Two years of peer support program facilitation experience, including program development, program evaluation, performance improvement, training, and community outreach
