Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates and promotes a public image and increases awareness of the organization in communities where Flogistix has operations.
Identifies, executes, and assesses programs to engage all employees in community involvement including but not limited to nationwide nonprofit programs and industry initiatives. Implements and evaluates outcomes by assessing results against program goals.
Identifies, executes, and assesses programs to engage employees to volunteer in the local communities where we operate. Implements and evaluates outcomes by assessing results against program goals.
Utilizes collaborations to fulfill community needs and develops networks to expand outreach and community resources.
Represents Flogistix in community outreach events through participation, presentations, and volunteer opportunities.
Builds and maintains relationships with leaders across business, civic, community, nonprofit, and other functions in the areas where we operate. Identifies and develops partnerships with community groups to cultivate ongoing community support.
Assists with writing and distribution of communications to promote the company within each community.
Maintains budgets for projects in all field areas and for each event.
Manages charitable giving for each field office and corporate initiatives.
Assists with company communications efforts such as employee newsletters and social media posts including writing and photography.
Travels to field areas to assist with community and volunteer events and attends special events on behalf of the company. Up to 50% travel expected.

Qualifications
Skills and
Qualifications:
Experience in community relations and volunteer coordination working with both for-profit and nonprofit entities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational and customer service skills.
Problem solving and flexibility to handle changing priorities and tasks.
Initiative and work ethic to perform job functions with minimal direction. A clear understanding of the company’s community relations goals and priorities.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Oil and gas industry experience a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, mass communication, marketing, or related field.
Five years of experience in community relations or related field.
