Job Overview: The Community Programs Manager oversees impactful outreach that benefits companion animals and their caregivers, in both Napa and neighboring counties, with the Community Pet Pantry (CPP) and the Senior Citizen Pet Wellness (SCPW) programs providing critical services to low-income residents and their companion animals. This position also involves engagement and representation at networking and community events, including hosting the Jameson Humane table twice a month at the Napa Farmers Market
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to, and subject to revision as needed):
· Maintaining frequent and consistent contact with program clients, partners, and volunteers
· Scheduling pet care and enrichment opportunities for companion animals of SCPW clients
· Scheduling volunteers for monthly CPP pet food bagging and distribution
· Coordinating services with program partners
· Hosting the Jameson Humane table at the Napa Famers Market
· Volunteer recruitment and retention (working with the Jameson Humane Volunteer Manager)
· Working within program budget limits and closely tracking expenses
· Working with senior management to develop program funding opportunities

· Strict adherence to maintaining up-to-date and accurate databases
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
· Proficency in tracking expenses and other budget items
· Able to maintain an engaging and professional presence when interacting with the public and volunteers
· Thorough familiarity and comfort in interacting with companion cats and dogs
· Good communication and writing skills
· Team player and self‐motivator
· Reliable and dependable

· Good driving record
Physical requirements:
· Movements include walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, grasping, lifting, and stretching
· Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance
· Hearing is required for in-person and telephone communications.
· Vision is required for completing tasks.
· Ability to work for prolonged periods outdoors in all weather conditions
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
