Lead community engagement and cultural events in Brampton as a Community Programming & Outreach Associate. Work with stakeholders to enhance participation in arts initiatives and coordinate impactful programming.
This role reports to the Coordinator, Education & Outreach, focusing on relationship building and executing cultural events. You’ll curate programming, support outreach, supervise staff, and evaluate events to ensure improvement for future initiatives. You’ll play a pivotal role in fostering connections within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curate and plan cultural programming events
• Execute outreach initiatives with community partners
• Evaluate post-event feedback for improvement
• Lead special cultural programming projects
• Supervise and support part-time and volunteer staff
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary education in arts or cultural management
• Ontario Class G Driver’s License
• Standard First Aid CPR−C/AED Certification
• Strong communication and leadership skills
