Position: Community Program Coordinator Opportunity
Serve the community as a Program Coordinator for YW Housing from September to December 2026. Develop programs that support housing stability and enhance tenant well-being.
This temporary full-time position involves creating activities that promote early childhood development while fostering community ties. You will assess residents’ needs, using your effective communication and relationship skills to build partnerships that strengthen program outcomes and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging activities and workshops for community building
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners
• Support families in their housing transitions and needs
• Evaluate program success for ongoing enhancements
• Keep detailed records of client documentation and services
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three years related work experience
• Strong communication and relationship management abilities
• Knowledge in Harm Reduction and De-escalation practices
• Must provide a valid Vulnerable Sector Check
