Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Representative
- Meet directly with customers during local events and community outreach campaigns.
- Educate customers about our nonprofit partner’s mission, programs, and community impact.
- Encourage customers to get involved by supporting fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with event setup, organization, and breakdown to create a welcoming experience for customers.
- Work alongside fellow Community Outreach Representative team members to achieve outreach and fundraising goals.
- Promote brand awareness through engaging conversations with customers.
- Continue growing as a Community Outreach Representative through ongoing communication, leadership, and outreach training.
- Deliver an outstanding experience for customers at every event.
Qualifications for the Community Outreach Representative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers in community settings.
- Interested in community outreach, fundraising, customer service, or sales.
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable in fast-paced event environments.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, events, community outreach, or sales is helpful but not required.
- Full-time availability to work onsite throughout the Knoxville area.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the community.
