Through workshops, public art initiatives, performances, and community partnerships, we create spaces for connection, self-expression, and healing.

Position Overview

LOUD Art Society is seeking a passionate and community-minded Community Outreach Director to join our Board of Directors. This leadership role supports the organization’s mission by building relationships, strengthening community engagement, and expanding awareness of our programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about community-building, mental health advocacy, and the arts, and enjoys creating meaningful connections with individuals, organizations, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, nonprofits, and local partners
  • Support outreach strategies to increase public awareness and participation in programs and events
  • Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities aligned with LAS’s mission
  • Represent LOUD Art Society at community events, networking opportunities, and public initiatives when possible
  • Collaborate with the Board and leadership team on engagement and growth strategies
  • Help strengthen accessibility, inclusivity, and community presence

Qualifications

  • Passion for community engagement, arts, and mental health advocacy
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in outreach, nonprofit work, public engagement, partnerships, or community organizing is an asset
  • Collaborative, proactive, and mission-driven mindset
