Job Summary:
As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will support the development and execution of strategies designed to engage community members. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you’ll work to create lasting positive change and support the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development: Assist in creating and executing community outreach programs that align with the organization’s mission
Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local residents, organizations, and stakeholders to encourage involvement
Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute outreach events, workshops, and activities that promote community participation
Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between the organization and community members, sharing updates, key messages, and initiatives
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from participants to improve and optimize future outreach programs
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that outreach efforts align with the organization’s overall goals
Qualifications:
A passion for community engagement and making a positive impact
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with diverse community members
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
High school diploma or equivalent (additional experience in community outreach is a plus)
Must be authorized to work in the United States
