Vision for the Role: Hill Country Bible Church is looking for a Community Impact Director who will inspire and mobilize the church to be the hands and feet of Jesus, building meaningful partnerships and creating impactful outreach initiatives that transform lives and communities. Through strategic leadership and collaboration, this role will cultivate a culture of service, evangelism, and discipleship, empowering the church to make a Christ-centered difference locally and beyond.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Will

Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local organizations, ministries, and community leaders to address the needs of the community in a Christ-centered way.

Serve as the church’s representative to the community, building trust and collaboration with external stakeholders.

Oversee and support the health, growth and performance of the Community Impact staff team.

Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve effectively in Community Impact activities and initiatives.

Inspire and encourage church members to embrace a lifestyle of Christ-like service, fostering a culture of compassion, generosity, social responsibility and evangelism and discipleship.

Develop, implement, and oversee outreach programs, community events, service days, and special projects that align with the church’s mission and vision, addressing local community needs and integrating service as an essential part of evangelism and discipleship.

Develop metrics to evaluate the success and impact of outreach efforts, using data to continually improve programs.

Create and execute communication strategies to promote Community Impact programs within the congregation and the broader community.

Share stories and results to highlight the transformative impact of Community Impact efforts, inspiring greater participation.

Work closely with church leadership and collaborate with other staff to incorporate community impact efforts across all church ministries.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in community outreach, pastoral ministry, nonprofit leadership, or volunteer coordination, with a proven track record of developing and managing successful community programs.

Exceptional ability to build relationships with diverse groups, including church members, community leaders, and local organizations, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote and engage others in outreach efforts.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams or volunteers, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple community projects or events simultaneously.

Physical Requirements: May sit for extended periods of time with limited walking, standing, stooping, or bending. May occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs.
